Great conversations

Many of us working in churches dread the task of convincing people they should help with the children’s ministry, middle school teens, hand out bulletins, answer phones, etc.

We’ve got it all wrong.

If we think we have to convince someone to help, then it probably isn’t what God has uniquely gifted them for.

I got to have two conversations today with people who were so thrilled to teach a fall disicpleship class. God has obviously gifted them to excel at teaching. It’s not a chore for them.

I’m reminded today that true leadership is empowering others to lead.

To the Crazy Ones…

Thanks to Tim Stevens for this one.
