Ben Simpson wrote an open letter to young UM leaders. His basic proposal is to have 40 people commit to writing a prayer, to be published online, which will guide those praying alongside and within the young clergy community for 40 days. Gavin Richardson (of Methoblog fame) and I talked about using this concept for Geek Breakfasts for meet ups in districts & conferences among people who meet in the online communities. He’s putting together a proposal and we’ll see what happens!

I’m not sure where God is taking this young clergy thing. But the bottom line seems to be about anybody (clergy or lay) having a great idea, fleshing it out, collaboration, making it happen, and getting the word out.
I love that.
