the value of doing something over

I really don’t want to be writing this. I wish that I had gotten an A on my church history midterm last month. I wish that I didn’t spend the last week of my life putting off other papers and projects so I could retake the midterm.

However, when I emerge from this class, I’ll be able to answer questions on any major ruler from the 2-5th century. I’ll know all about monks, people who persecuted Christians, great theologians, Constantine, Athanasius, Ephrem the Syrian and why martyrs were good and bad.

Now I just need to find people that will even care.

Or is it our job to help them see why it’s important to care about our history?

Anyways, now I know the information. Lesson learned.
