Our church staff gives several hours a couple times a month to volunteer for lunch duty at our nearby elementary school. Today was my first chance to help out. There’s nothing like lunch duty to put your life in perspective!
1. These kids have the coolest lunches now a days! I’ve never seen fruit rollups like I did today. Or Oreo sticks that are dipped in creme! so jealous…
2. One girl said her mom was putting in her nose ring for work this morning and messed up and there was blood everywhere. And then her mom had to go to the emergency room. poor girl…
3. Definitely an ego booster that three 2nd grade boys think I’m hot. “My friend thinks you’re hot…no I don’t…yes you just said that…”
